Questions, answered

Everything people usually ask about living at Yellow Pine and in Arlington. Anything else, call us or use the chat.

How close is Yellow Pine to Jacksonville University?

Walking distance. Yellow Pine sits in Arlington just minutes from campus, an easy commute for university faculty, staff, and students who want a full townhome rather than an apartment.

What makes a townhome different from an apartment?

Two floors and no shared ceilings. Living, dining, and kitchen downstairs; both bedrooms upstairs; no one living above or below you; and a private patio out back. Yellow Pine’s homes were originally built as condominiums, and it shows in the layout.

What is Arlington, Jacksonville like to live in?

Arlington is one of Jacksonville’s established neighborhoods, across the St. Johns River from downtown and anchored by Jacksonville University. Everyday shopping, dining, and parks are spread throughout, the riverfront is close, and I-295 puts the rest of the city minutes away.

Are the townhomes renovated?

Yes. Renovated homes have updated kitchens and baths, wood-style flooring, ceiling fans, and central air. The community keeps it straightforward: the essentials, done right.

Can roommates comfortably share a townhome at Yellow Pine?

Comfortably. About 1,100 square feet across two floors, two real bedrooms upstairs, and the living space downstairs, so roommates get separation an apartment can’t offer, and the split-rent math beats most one-bedrooms in town.

Do the townhomes have outdoor space?

Every townhome has a private patio out back, there are grills on site, and the grounds are spacious and well kept, on a quiet Arlington street.

Is Yellow Pine quiet?

That’s much of the point of a townhome: no neighbors above or below you. The community sits on a quiet Arlington street and was originally built as condominiums, not a complex on a thoroughfare.

How far is downtown Jacksonville from Yellow Pine?

About 15 minutes by car, with easy I-295 access, and the St. Johns River is minutes away. Jacksonville University is closer still: walking distance.

What schools serve Yellow Pine?

Duval County Public Schools, including Merrill Road Elementary and Arlington Elementary; verify current attendance zones with the district. Jacksonville University is in walking distance.

Do the townhomes have washers and dryers?

Select homes have in-unit laundry. Ask when you tour and we’ll point you to the homes that do.

Why is Yellow Pine a good value?

About 1,100 square feet over two floors for about what a one-bedroom costs elsewhere in Jacksonville. The same monthly budget buys a second bedroom, a downstairs, an upstairs, and a patio.

What does a townhome cost?

Two-bedroom, two-story townhomes of about 1,100 square feet start at $1,199/month based on current availability. The availability page always shows live pricing.

What lease terms are available?

Is Yellow Pine pet friendly?
